Schema Markup Services

Structured data that earns rich results and feeds AI answers — implemented clean, validated, no duplicates.

Schema markup is you explaining your pages to machines in their own language. Done right, it earns review stars, FAQ dropdowns and product data in search results — and increasingly, it’s how AI systems parse who you are and what you sell. Done wrong, it does nothing quietly, or earns a manual action loudly.

What we implement

  • Organization and site-level schema — the identity layer: who you are, your logo, your profiles. The foundation of entity SEO.
  • Service and LocalBusiness schema — for service and location pages, with correct area-served handling (and no fake-location markup, which violates guidelines).
  • Product schema — price, availability and review data for WooCommerce products, the difference between a plain listing and one with stars and pricing.
  • FAQ and Article schema — for content pages, feeding both rich results and AI answer extraction.

The duplicate-schema trap

The most common issue we fix: three plugins all outputting Organization schema, contradicting each other. Google’s response to conflicting signals is to trust none of them. We audit what’s already being output — theme, SEO plugin, page builders — and consolidate to one clean, validated layer.

Validation and proof

Every type we deploy is tested against Google’s Rich Results Test and Schema.org validation, with screenshots in your delivery report. Where rich results apply, we track their appearance in Search Console.

Schema is one of those jobs that’s cheap to do right and annoying to untangle later — most orders complete within a week. Bundled inside technical SEO, or order it standalone.

How the schema audit actually works

We start by pulling every piece of structured data your site currently outputs, not just what you think is there. Most sites have schema coming from three or four sources at once: the theme, an SEO plugin, a page builder, sometimes a review plugin bolted on for good measure. We put all of it side by side and check for conflicts, missing required fields, and types that don’t match the page they’re sitting on.

From there we build one clean implementation plan. Rather than adding a fifth layer on top of the mess, we turn off the sources causing conflicts and consolidate everything into a single, validated set of schema per page type.

What you’ll need to provide

For most sites, very little. We need admin or FTP access to your WordPress install, a look at your current SEO plugin settings, and answers to a short set of questions about your business (exact legal name, service area, any certifications you want reflected in Organization schema). If you’re selling products, we’ll also need confirmation on your review collection process, since product schema pulls real review data, not placeholder stars.

What “done” looks like

You get a delivery report showing before-and-after Rich Results Test screenshots for every page type we touched, a list of what schema now lives where, and a note on anything Google doesn’t currently support as a rich result (some types validate cleanly but don’t produce a visible SERP feature — we tell you which is which so you’re not waiting on something that isn’t coming).

Common questions

Will this get me a ranking boost by itself?
Schema is not a direct ranking factor on its own, but it does two real things: it makes your listing eligible for rich results that improve click-through rate, and it gives AI systems a much cleaner signal about what your business actually is. Both matter, neither is a guaranteed rankings jump.

How long until rich results actually show up?
Once schema validates cleanly, it’s up to Google whether and when to show the enhanced result. We typically see changes reflected in Search Console within 1-3 weeks, though visible rich results in the SERP itself can take longer and aren’t something any agency can promise on a fixed timeline.

Do you touch schema plugins I’m already using?
Only where they’re causing conflicts. If your current setup is clean and just incomplete, we build on top of it rather than ripping it out.

What if my site uses a page builder that generates its own schema?
We work around it. Most builders let you disable their auto-generated schema per page or site-wide, which is usually the cleanest fix rather than fighting two systems at once.

Why AI search made this more urgent, not less

A few years ago, schema markup was mostly about winning star ratings and FAQ dropdowns in Google’s regular results. That’s still true, but it’s no longer the whole story. Tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews pull structured, unambiguous facts about a business far more reliably than they parse a wall of unstructured paragraph text. Clean Organization and Service schema is one of the more direct ways to help an AI system state your business name, what you do, and where you operate correctly, instead of guessing from scattered mentions across the web.

This connects directly to entity SEO and answer engine optimization work — schema is the technical foundation those strategies build on, not a separate project.

What quality schema work actually costs you in time if you skip it

Sites without proper schema don’t get penalized outright, but they lose ground quietly. A competitor showing star ratings and a price directly in the search result gets clicked more than yours sitting next to it with plain blue text, even at the same ranking position. Over months, that click-through gap adds up to real lost traffic that never shows up as an obvious problem in your analytics, it just looks like flat growth.

Our process, step by step

First, a full audit of everything currently outputting structured data on your site. Second, a written plan showing exactly which schema types we’ll add or fix, and why, before any changes go live. Third, implementation, typically through a lightweight, update-safe method rather than hardcoding it into theme files that break on the next update. Fourth, validation against Google’s Rich Results Test for every page type touched. Fifth, a delivery report with screenshots and a plain-English summary of what changed.

Most straightforward sites complete this in about a week. Larger sites with hundreds of product or service pages take longer, simply because there’s more to audit and test properly, not because the underlying work is more complex.

Schema and your existing SEO plugin

If you’re running Rank Math, Yoast, or a similar plugin, some schema is likely already being generated automatically. That’s a reasonable starting point, but automatic defaults rarely match your business precisely. We check whether the plugin’s schema settings actually reflect your real service area, business type, and pricing, then correct the fields that were left at generic defaults rather than replacing the plugin’s output wholesale.
