Monthly SEO Management
Ongoing SEO handled month to month — no contracts, cancel whenever, monthly reports that show the work.
Most monthly SEO retainers survive on inertia. The client keeps paying because canceling feels risky, and the agency keeps invoicing because the contract says so. We removed the contract on purpose — you stay because the numbers improve.
What happens each month
Every month has a plan, and every plan is visible in your dashboard before the month starts. A typical cycle:
- Week 1: Rankings and traffic review, plus technical checks. Anything that broke gets fixed first.
- Weeks 2–3: The building work — new links, content improvements, page optimization, citations. Whatever your plan calls for.
- Week 4: Report. What we did, where rankings moved, what next month looks like.
The dashboard changes everything
You don’t wait for a monthly PDF to know what’s happening. Log in and see the status of every task — links in progress, content drafted, fixes deployed. Questions go through dashboard chat straight to Shamas.
Pricing
Scoped to your market. A single-location service business is very different from an ecommerce store fighting national brands. Most small-business campaigns land between $300 and $900 monthly. You’ll get an exact number in your custom plan — and it stays that number.
Why no contracts works
It forces us to earn the next month, every month. Our average customer relationship is longer than the industry’s contract-locked average — because the reports give people reasons to stay, not because paperwork traps them.

What actually gets included in a typical monthly scope
Every campaign is built around your specific goals and current site condition, but most monthly plans draw from the same core toolkit: ongoing link building targeted at your priority pages, on-page improvements to existing content, new content creation filling gaps identified in keyword research, technical fixes as they’re discovered, and for local businesses, review management and citation maintenance. The specific mix and volume of each shifts month to month based on what the data shows is actually needed, not a rigid checklist executed identically regardless of results.
How the first month differs from every month after
Month one typically front-loads diagnostic and foundation work, a full technical audit, keyword research if you don’t already have a current map, competitor analysis, and cleanup of any glaring issues found. This foundation work shapes the plan for every subsequent month, so later months can focus purely on building rather than also having to identify what’s broken. Clients sometimes expect month one’s ranking movement to match later months, and we set that expectation clearly upfront, foundation work matters enormously for long-term results but doesn’t always produce visible ranking movement in the first 30 days.
Why the dashboard matters more than a monthly report call
A once-a-month report or call means you’re working with information that’s already weeks old by the time you see it, and you have no visibility into progress in between. Live dashboard tracking shows task status as it happens, links as they go live, content as it moves through drafting and approval, fixes as they’re deployed, so you always know exactly where things stand rather than waiting for a scheduled check-in to find out.
What you’ll need to provide
Access to your website, Google Business Profile if applicable, and Search Console/Analytics if you have them connected. Beyond that, honest input during onboarding about your business goals, target markets, and what success actually looks like for you specifically, since a campaign optimized for lead volume looks different than one optimized for ecommerce revenue or brand visibility.
Common questions
What if I want to pause or cancel?
Since there’s no contract, you can pause or cancel anytime. We ask for reasonable notice so we can wrap up in-progress work cleanly, but there’s no penalty or lock-in period.
How is my monthly price actually determined?
Based on your market’s competitiveness, your current site condition, and the scope of work realistically needed to move the needle, not a flat package price applied regardless of your specific situation. You’ll see the exact number and what it includes in your custom plan before committing to anything.
Can the scope change month to month if priorities shift?
Yes, the plan adjusts based on what’s actually working and what new opportunities or issues emerge, rather than executing an identical checklist every month regardless of results.
How long before I should expect to see real results?
This varies by market and starting point, but most clients see initial movement within 60-90 days, with results compounding meaningfully over 6-12 months as authority and content depth build. We’ll give you an honest timeline estimate specific to your situation, not a generic promise.

Why we removed the contract on purpose
Most agencies lock clients into 6 or 12-month contracts specifically because they know a meaningful share of clients would leave earlier if they could, the contract exists to prevent that, not to guarantee results. We took the opposite bet: no lock-in means we have to genuinely earn each month’s payment through visible results, not through the friction of cancellation. Our actual average client relationship length runs longer than the industry’s typical contract term, not because anyone is trapped, but because the monthly reporting gives real reasons to stay.
How we measure whether a monthly campaign is actually working
Rankings and organic traffic are the headline numbers, but we also track leading indicators month to month, new referring domains, content indexed and ranking, review velocity for local campaigns, since these tend to move before rankings fully catch up and give an early read on whether the work is landing. If a specific tactic isn’t producing movement after a reasonable window, we say so directly and adjust the plan rather than repeating the same approach for months because it’s what the retainer originally specified.
A common mistake with monthly campaigns
Judging month one against month six’s expectations is one of the most common ways businesses misread their own results, foundation work in the first month rarely produces the same visible movement as later months once links and content have had time to accumulate and Google has had time to recrawl and reassess. We set realistic month-by-month expectations upfront specifically so early progress doesn’t get mistaken for a stalled campaign when it’s actually right on track.
