Questions We Get
What happens if an update breaks something? We test updates on a staging copy first where possible, and roll back immediately from backup if anything goes wrong on the live site.
Is this different from the Care Plan? Yes, this is maintenance only. Our Care Plan adds a monthly allowance of small content or design fixes on top of this.
Do you fix a hacked site under this plan? No, that is covered separately under our Malware Removal Service, since cleanup is a different scope of work.
Do you monitor for hacks under this plan? Basic security monitoring is included, but active malware cleanup is a separate service since it is a different scope of work entirely.
Can I add the Care Plan later if I start with just maintenance? Yes, message us anytime and we will upgrade your plan without losing anything already in place.
Do you notify me before making any changes? Routine updates run automatically after testing, but anything unusual gets flagged to you first through your dashboard before we touch it.
What if I already pay for updates through my host? Some hosts only apply core updates, not plugins or themes, and rarely test before applying. Tell us what your host covers and we will fill the real gaps.
